Terms of Service
Effective date: May 18, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of the personal-software services operated by one individual at practicepartner.app — Practice Partner and household-hub (the "Services"). By using a Service, or by connecting a Google account to it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
These Terms cover the Services generally, including the features that use Google APIs. The separate SMS Terms of Service governs the SMS text-messaging program specifically and continues to apply to that program; nothing here replaces it. How personal information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
1. The Services
household-hub is a private household communication relay: it carries messages among the members of one household across SMS, email, and a web application, and offers optional assistance features including an AI "household memory" that can, with permission, read a connected Gmail account to help the household remember practical facts and dates. Practice Partner is a personal practice tool that can, with the user's authorization, create and upload practice videos to that user's own YouTube channel. The Services are small, privately operated tools used by a known group of people; they are not public consumer platforms and are not sold or marketed to the general public.
2. Who may use the Services
household-hub is used by the members of one household, who are added by that household's operator; it has no public sign-up. Practice Partner is used by individuals who connect their own accounts. You must be old enough to form a binding agreement and to hold the accounts you connect. The Services are not directed at children; the household-memory and Gmail-connection features are limited to adult household members.
3. Your responsibilities
You agree to use the Services only for their intended, lawful purpose. You agree not to use a Service to send unlawful, harassing, or abusive content; to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or their data; to disrupt or overload the Services; or to connect an account you do not own or are not authorized to use. You are responsible for the content you send and the accounts you connect.
4. Connecting Google services
Some features work only if you connect a Google account through Google's standard consent screen. When you do, you authorize the Service to access the specific Google data described at that screen and in the Privacy Policy:
- Gmail (household-hub). Read-only access to the connected mailbox, used solely to extract practical household facts and dates for the household memory. household-hub cannot send, change, or delete your email, and does not store raw email contents.
- YouTube (Practice Partner). Access used solely to create and upload practice videos to your own YouTube channel at your request, and to read back the status of those uploads.
The Services' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, as detailed in the Privacy Policy. You may revoke a Service's access at any time from your Google account permissions page or by disconnecting the account in the app. Because the Practice Partner feature uses YouTube API Services, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
5. AI-assisted features
The Services include features that use machine-learning models to summarise, search, translate, suggest, and extract information. These outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. They are conveniences, not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice, and should be reviewed before being relied upon. A fact the AI extracts for the household memory is only added once a household member reviews and confirms it.
6. Privacy and SMS
The Privacy Policy explains what information the Services collect and how it is used, stored, shared, and deleted, including data accessed through Google APIs. The SMS text-messaging program is governed by the separate SMS Terms of Service, which describes message types, frequency, cost, and the HELP and STOP instructions.
7. Availability and "as is"
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. They are privately operated and may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued at any time. The operator does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services, or for any loss of data or messages. The Services are personal tools provided without charge for the benefit of a known group of users.
9. Suspension and termination
The operator may suspend or end access to a Service, in whole or for a particular user, at any time — for example to protect the Services or to comply with the law. You may stop using the Services at any time: disconnect any connected Google account, reply STOP to leave the SMS program, and contact the operator to be removed entirely.
10. Changes to these Terms
If these Terms change, the effective date above is updated and the revised Terms are posted at this address. Continued use of a Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms removes any consumer right that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be sent to [email protected].
